Payment Methods
Japan Auction Vehicles does our utmost to be current and offers modern and convenient payment methods as well as traditional ones.
Payment for auctions needs to be deposited in advance and if the auction for your vehicle isn't won, we will apply your funds to the next available vehicle of that make / model / colour or refund your deposit.
1. BANK TRANSFER
This is the easiest method and attracts the least amount of fees. All fees on the auction side wil need to paid in Japanese Yen, and compliance fees / duty / GST will be payable in Australian dollars. We handle the conversion for you and give you up to date rates based on daily market exchange value.
NOTE: The Japanese bank’s exchange rate for US dollars is typically 1 yen lower than that shown on most currency converters.
2. CREDIT CARD via Stripe
Although a fee of 3.7% will be deducted by Stripe, Japan Auction Vehicles can issue an invoice that is payable by credit card. The fees must be paid by the customer.
